I am looking for a contractor to perform a bathroom renovation and storage conversion in my new apartment. I will receive the keys on June 1st, 2026, and I would like to schedule the work the start of June (I want to have the work completed so I can move in before June 30th).
Based on the floor plan, photos, and Funda listing, here is the scope of work:
1. Toilet Relocation:
- Decommissioning: Remove the existing shower in the bathroom
- Plumbing: Relocate the toilet from the current separate room to the shower area
- Drainage: To avoid cutting deep into the floor, I am happy to build a raised floor/step (verhoogde vloer) to house the drain.
- Installation: Install a new wall-hung toilet (Inbouwreservoir/Geberit) and a concealed cistern.
- Tiling: Re-tile the new toilet area/step (the area with the toilet and washing machine only, not the whole bathroom).
2. Storage Room Conversion (Old Toilet Area):
- Pipe Management: The new toilet pipe will pass through this room; I need the raised floor extended here to hide it.
- Wall Finish: Cover the existing walls with wood panels.
- Shelving: Install basic adjustable shelving for cleaning supplies and tools.
Request:
- Could you provide a quote for labor and basic materials?
- Do you have availability to start between June 3rd-15th, so I can move in before the end of June?
- I can arrange a site visit on June 1st or 2nd once I have the keys.
